Church of the Redeemer is a thriving multigenerational congregation in the east metro of the Twin Cities. We are actively seeking a church home and neighborhood where we can share in Christ’s ministry of reconciliation through worship, testimony, and faithful presence. We currently gather for worship in rented space in Roseville on Sunday afternoons and are sent out in mission throughout the week to homes, schools, universities, and workplaces across the Twin Cities. We are searching for a sanctuary, fellowship space, and classrooms to accommodate 250 to 300 people, ideally within the boundaries of Randolph Ave, I-35E, I-35W/Highway 280, and I-694.
We are a local expression of one holy catholic and apostolic Church in the Anglican tradition. Our worship is ordered around receiving the gifts of God through His Word and Sacraments. We testify to the faithfulness of God to one another in the church as well as with those who do not yet follow Jesus. Whether in the Church or without, we seek to order our words and actions in witness to the faithful presence of God through His Holy Spirit.
Over the past two years, we have grown in faith and financial preparation through a building capital campaign. Additionally, we hold six months of operating funds in reserve. Within our congregation, more than 55% of parishioners are 18 years old or younger; 30% are 19 to 55, and 15% are older than 55.
We have mature and lively children’s ministries, a burgeoning youth group, fruitful connections with local colleges and universities, and robust participation in church fellowship, discipleship, and mission. Our identity with the global Church is being formed and expressed through partnerships with missionaries in Oman, Turkey, Egypt, and Kenya, and through a strong and growing cross-cultural relationship with St. John’s Karen Anglican Church in St. Paul. Likewise, we have active local partnerships and ministry teams that serve with Together For Good, Arrive Ministries, and Anselm House.
Since our founding in 2010, we have joyfully embraced our calling as Christians who gather in worship and are sent out in mission. We continue in that calling, fixing our hope and trust in God who will equip us with everything good that we may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
