Adults

We believe that as people build relationships with one another they are empowered in their ability to grow in their relationship with Christ. Because of this we offer various opportunities in our community for making connections. Listed below are some of the ways you can get involved at Church of the Redeemer and develop those connections. Please e-mail us at [email protected] for more information on any of these activities.

All Church Meals

We believe that sharing a meal with someone is a key way to build a friendship. With that in mind, we enjoy periodic simple meals together. Anyone who can is encouraged to bring something to share, but everyone is invited whether they brought food or not (we have all mooched at one time or another).

Newcomer Dinners

Every six weeks, we host a dinner that is specially designed for newer attendees of Church of the Redeemer. This dinner is a time to socialize with other newcomers as well as to meet some of our leaders. After the dinner, a member of the pastoral staff shares an overview of the mission of Church of the Redeemer and anyone is welcome to ask questions they have about the church.

Table Fellowship

This is an opportunity to do exactly what you might guess – fellowship around a table! This is a casual way to spend time with others at Church of the Redeemer, share a meal (brunch, lunch, or dinner), and build community. No other agenda item other than fellowship! Dinner groups will be assigned (6-12 people), and each group can choose a date that works best for their calendars. Check the email and bulletin for upcoming table fellowship group opportunities!

Discipleship Opportunities

Community groups and other opportunities for small group discipleship provide time for fellowship, prayer, and study at different times and locations during the week. If you would like more information, please contact Fr. Paul or one of the group leaders listed below.

Listening Prayer

Women’s Listening Prayer

Women of the church gather monthly, making space for listening to God and one another. All are warmly invited to our evenings of fellowship, worship, testimony, lectio divina, and small group prayer. Come once or come every month!

Men’s Listening Prayer

Men’s Listening Prayer is a monthly gathering of men of the church for the practice of worship, testimony, journaling, and prayer. Meets in Roseville.

Community Groups

Community Groups provide a regular opportunity to get to know fellow church attendees and support one another in our life in Christ. Members meet regularly to reflect on God’s Word, share, and pray with one another.

Women’s Bible Studies

The women of our church meet regularly for Bible Study.

Men’s Bible Study

A new men’s Bible study is forming, meeting weekly on Zoom beginning Thursday, October 2, 7–8:30 p.m. Each gathering will observe Evening Prayer and a chapter by chapter, book by book daily Bible devotional reading plan. This group is for men who are ready to commit to grow in prayer, biblical literacy, and fellowship, in order to faithfully serve our families and communities. Retreats

Men’s Retreat

February 6–8, 2026

Save the date for Church of the Redeemer’s 2026 men’s winter retreat, which will be held at Cove Point Lodge. The retreat schedule is organized around morning and evening worship on Saturday, free time for indoor and outdoor activities, and worship on Sunday morning. Outdoor activities include snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and hiking, as well as cards and board games inside. The retreat is a great opportunity for us to enjoy fellowship as brothers-in-Christ.

Women’s Retreat

October 3–5, 2025

Please be in prayer for the women of Redeemer as they gather at Dunrovin Retreat Center for a time to connect and deepen their relationship with others in our church community. It will be an opportunity to offer and receive friendship, belonging, and blessing from each other as sisters-in-Christ. There will be times of worship, prayer, fun, fellowship, and reflection, with opportunities for both inside and outside activities.

Young Adults Gathering

In addition to intergenerational activities, our young adults gather as a cohort for monthly fellowship.

Contact Joel Broberg or Hannah Flowers to participate.
