Women’s Bible Studies

Thursday Mornings

Begins September 11, 9:30 a.m.

All women at Church of the Redeemer are invited to attend a Thursday morning Bible study beginning Sept. 11.  We will take the whole year to dive into the book of Isaiah.  Through pronouncements of judgment for sin combined with highly exalted prophesies filled with hope for a long-promised Messiah, Isaiah attempts to orient people’s hearts and minds toward trusting God rather than trusting in themselves and their fragile alliances.  We will seek to be transformed in our own hearts and minds through the beauty of Isaiah – God’s Word and literary masterpiece.

Monday Evenings

Begins September 29, 7:00 P.m.

The book of Romans has profoundly shaped the church since it was first written. Influential figures like Augustine, Luther, and Wesley experienced life-changing awakenings through its message, and it continues to speak powerfully into our lives today—2,000 years later.

This year, we invite you to “read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest” this rich and challenging letter and its gospel message of faith and grace. Using an inductive method of study, we’ll encounter Romans with fresh eyes and childlike wonder.
